This course continues with a survey of both the technical and aesthetic components of audio mixing. Class demonstrations, lectures, and labs continue to explore modern effects and techniques, and the course culminates with a final mix project in which students will utilize all of the techniques that they have learned in the mix curriculum thus far.
- Create a stereo mix from pre-recorded material
- Identify various types of delay and reverb used in commercial mixes
- Implement these mixing techniques into their own sessions
- Configure and route signals to and from devices for use in parallel processing
