Practicum at The Center for Digital Arts allows students to experience hands-on work for real clients. We’ve partnered with non-profit organizations locally, globally and online, who can benefit from the impact and reach of digital media. Embracing the power of technology, Practicum encourages
students to innovate and to inspire.
At CDA, we’re committed to making media that matters. Our faculty members work closely with the non-profit community to explore how digital media creates networks, raises awareness and mobilizes resources. Under the guidance of these faculty advisers and using the knowledge gained during their certificate programs, students develop video, digital photography, web design, print materials, 3D animation and audio production projects with those organizations making a difference in the world.
This dynamic opportunity allows students to complete real world projects, create new networks and build portfolios to serve them professionally.
Every student may participate in the Practicum as the final course of their certificate program. This module is designed to provide students with practical experience by working on a real-world project, for an actual client, under a fixed time frame and with well-defined deliverables. Students work independently or in teams – to help them develop an awareness of the professional environment—as they take a project from concept to completion.
The Practicum program at CDA is always looking for new partnerships with non-profit organizations ready for innovative opportunities in collaboration. For more information, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
